As we continue to expand our print quality management capabilities, it means we periodically also have the pleasure of welcoming a new member onboard! Help us welcome our newest addition to the creative team–Production Artist Julia Montroy. Read on to learn all about her!
Julia brings a lot to the table. She’s a very experienced graphic artist, who’s worked as a freelance graphic designer for the last 15 years. During that time she’s worked on lots of creative projects with many of the top advertising agencies in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas. Some of those agencies include Deutsch, Saatchi & Saatchi LA and INNOCEAN. She knows exactly how to ensure the client achieves their creative vision, from conception to print. We’re very happy to have her on board, helping us better achieve this goal for our customers on every project!
She’s also a huge believer in continuing education and developing her professional skills. Julia studied at The New School of Architecture in San Diego. She was accepted in Boston Architectural College and worked with Architecture firms in the marketing department at Hope Design Group in San Diego, CA and Stubbins Associates in Cambridge, MA. During her time freelancing in LA and San Diego, she continued her studies at the Associates of Arts in Sherman Oaks, Animation Guild in LA, OTIS College of Art and Design and The Bookshop in LA.
Just like us, Julia also loves to participate in volunteer work! She volunteers with OneSight, where she helps test children for glaucoma, an eye condition which can be managed if detected early so as to prevent irreversible damage or blindness. She’s also volunteered with Special Olympics Southern California and the Infinite Hero Foundation.
In her free time, Julia loves to spend time with her Jack Russell chihuahuas, walking along the beach or hiking on one of the many beautiful trails in Orange County. Her ideal vacation would be spent at any coastal Ritz Carlton in the world, reading the thrilling novels of Stephen King, Anne Rice or John Grisham.
