At Excel we believe that sustainability begins at the roots. To offer sustainable products that will positively impact the world is only part of the solution. In order to make the biggest impact we must hold every part of our business to a higher standard.

That is why Excel Packaging is now a Certified B Corporation and has joined a great group of businesses that are dedicated to using business as a force for good.

Certified B Corporations meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability to all of their stakeholders. We are excited to have joined this great group and know that this is just the beginning of an exciting journey focused on continued improvement and impact. Unlike traditional corporations, Excel Packaging is now legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders: customers, employees, communities, and the environment.

Society’s most challenging problems cannot be solved by government and nonprofits alone. The B Corp community works toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of more high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose. By harnessing the power of business, B Corps use profits and growth as a means to a greater end: positive impact for their customers, employees, communities, and the environment.

Sustainability is a core value at Excel and becoming a B Corp helps push that core value to have greater impact.  Sustainability will always be a journey at Excel and impact comes in may different forms.

An important part of this journey is communicating with other brands that are B Corps and brands that are interested in becoming a B Corp.
